IWM Duxford celebrates the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee in style with The Jubilee Air Show on Sunday 27 May. Here we look back at some of the significant Royal visits to RAF Duxford.
King George VI and Queen Elizabeth visit 12 Group at RAF Duxford to decorate Battle of Britain airmen.

IWM Duxford has three cafés on site - The Mess Restaurant, Wing Co Joe’s Café and Station 357. There are also benches available throughout the site for visitors who bring a picnic.
Toilets, including wheelchair-accessible facilities, are available throughout the site, with additional facilities provided for special events and air shows. Toilets in the Visitor Centre and AirSpace are identified by tactile signs.
IWM Duxford's shop provides a wide range of books, CDs, DVDs, clothing and accessories, posters and stationary, souvenirs and gift ideas.
For our younger visitors we have an exciting range of games, toys and souvenirs as well as a selection of children's books. There are also educational resource materials and children's activity books on sale.
