HMS Belfast offers an immersive experience across the ship’s nine decks. Duck through the same hatches and climb the same ladders as those who served on board to discover what life was like for the 950-strong crew.

Youth groups

Youth groups can discover a unique historic environment. Film, photographs, objects and veteran testimonies tell the story of what life was like living and working on board HMS Belfast during her duties in the Second World War, the Cold War, Korea and beyond.

Groups can explore HMS Belfast on a self-directed visit. A short introductory film and audio guides in English, French, German and Spanish are included in the admission price, subject to availability.

Accessibility at HMS Belfast

The nature of the ship can make access to some of the areas below decks quite difficult. There is an accessible lift from the Quarterdeck gangway where your tour starts, and other facilities are available on board.
