Animals can do lots of jobs that people can't, including flying with messages and carrying heavy loads, but it's their sense of smell that's proved to be a real lifesaver. From finding people buried in bombed-out buildings to sniffing out mines and other dangers, canaries, dogs, pigs and even rats have been used to save hundreds of human lives.
At the exhibition you can test your sense of smell with our smelly elephant trunks. See if you can tell the difference between the smells of gun smoke, stables, roses - or even sweaty feet!
