Wednesdays: 4 July. Join staff from the Worker's Film Association to find out about film animation, using models to create your own short clips. The finished films from the firsxt five sessions will be shown at the film screening of Valiant on 11 August. Booking is recommended as places are limited. Tel: 0161 836 4007. Suitable for ages 9+. |
Claymation | Saturdays 1 and 22 September, 6 and 13 October Expand your imagination, learn about film animation techniques with the Workers’ Film Association and create your own short clips using clay models. View your finished film at the Family Fun Day on Saturday 27 October. |
Pigeon Soldiers | Tuesday 23 – Friday 26 October Pigeons have been used to carry wartime messages for thousands of years. Join artists from Staffordshire University and craft your own origami messenger pigeon. Write your own message, attach it to your pigeon and then let it free! All of your origami pigeons will flock together to create an artwork dedicated to pigeon soldiers, to be displayed on a wall in The Animals’ War exhibition. |
