The Journeys of Change project builds partnerships between museums, archives and young people from local communities.
Through this project, led by Imperial War Museum London and a number of partners across London, six groups of young people piloted their own journeys of investigation to discover the ways in which Caribbean people have been affected by conflict in the twentieth century.
After choosing an object from the Imperial War Museum’s collection, these groups of young people discovered the connections they share with their community’s past through researching, interviewing elders, handling objects, writing creatively and using drama and role-play.
