Battlefield Tour 3
Caterpillar Valley Cemetery to Mouquet Farm and Thiepval. 

This traces the sites featured in our Personal Stories south of the River Ancre, in the latter phases of the Battle.

Visitors should be aware that most of the battlefields are now private property so please keep to footpaths.  Evidence of the Battle in the form of shells, grenades and bullets is still common.  These are still live and potentially dangerous and should not be touched.
