The UK National Inventory of War Memorials website allows people everywhere to discover information about the individuals, places and events recorded on our war memorials. Family historians or school classes can now investigate their local memorials, adding details, perhaps even photographs, to bring them alive. 

Our aim is that the story of each memorial, its building, unveiling, and significance to community life will be here. The possibilities are potentially endless but we need your help to complete the project, please make a donation online now.

We must never forget those who have died fighting for their country and now, through the internet, we can continue to learn from them and expand our own knowledge.
