Learning Resources for Schools
The collections of the Imperial War Museum are incredible resources for learning about modern conflict. All our education services are based on the ‘raw material of history’ found in our collections. Even if you are able to visit one of our five branches, these online learning resources can help prepare for and follow up your visit. WebQuests are based on collections from NINE national museums, including the Imperial War Museum. WebQuests are mapped to the curriculum at Key Stages 1 to 4, across subjects including English, Maths, History and Citizenship. WebQuests are part of the National Museums Online Learning Project.
There is even more available for teachers and schools from our major education project Their Past Your Future. Learning for everyone - Creative Spaces
Museums are amazing social spaces, full of discussion, debate and discovery. Creative Spaces lets you experience this online:
Creative Spaces is part of the National Museums Online Learning Project. IWM Learning Resources available to buy
