Well Manchester got a bombing but it was mainly directed to the industrial parts of Manchester, it was in the dock areas of Manchester and Manchester centre suffered a lot of bombing I think the tendency was for the planes to fly over to Liverpool which was a more important target for the Germans to stop the convoys.
