Project Description

Curator of the King's Own Royal Regiment Museum, Lancaster, Peter Donnelly will talk at Ingleton Library on how the first few months of the First World War it's impacted on the local area and the King's Own Regiment. Mr Donnelly will also talk about Ingleton’s links with the King’s Own, including Lt. Richard Leslie Brown who lived at Storrs Hall and Lt. Gerald Kirk, who held many prominent positions in the village – he even captained Ingleton Football Club. Refreshments will be served following the talk which takes place at Ingleton Library on Wednesday 24th September at 7.00pm
