Transforming IWM London

We are undergoing a major building redevelopment and access around the museum is limited. Find out more at Visitor Information.

During our on-going transformation we are committed to ensuring IWM London is accessible to all visitors, regardless of disability, and hope the facilities we have introduced enhance your visit. These include:

  • Step-free access via the Geraldine Mary Harmsworth Park entrance.
  • Wheelchairs are available for loan. To book in advance of your visit, please telephone 020 7416 5000.
  • Accessible toilets are available on all floors except the third and fourth.
  • Guide and assistance dogs are welcome.
  • Free parking is available for blue badge holders.  To book a parking space please email mail@iwm.org.uk or call 020 7416 3008. Please note spaces are limited and subject to availability.
  • Portable Listening Devices are available for loan. Please ask a member of our Front of House staff during your visit.

All of our Front of House staff receive training in disability awareness. If you have any queries, or need any assistance, please ask. We will be more than happy to help you.
