Description
Pink granite Latin cross on a two step base bearing the incised inscription, set on a sandstone base at the head of a kerbed gravespace which has no other commemoration. The subject is also commemorated on his parents' grave nearby (WMR 98217).

In Loving Memory of/ Willie Wade,/ of Hollins Road./ Died of Wounds in/ France, and Interred Perne/ Cemetery, April 20th 1918/ Aged 26 years./ Passed from this awful war/ into perfect peace.
