- Description
- Base surmounted by rough hewn step, plinth, column and celtic cross. Carved relief of celtic runes and sword of sacrifice (modelled on Highland Claymore) on shaft. Cross has rough hewn edges and polished faces. Inscription carved in relief at base of column and names inscribed in black on plinth.

- NORTH WAR MEMORIALS. The Ardclach and Auldearn War Memorial Committee have selected specially designed memorials in grey granite. The Ardclach Committee fixed upon a cross having face and back carved similarly with Celtic cross and Highland claymore all in relief. It is to be placed upon a hill site situated near the high road to the west of the village of Glenferness.
