Description
A printed sheet within a glazed wooden-framed noticeboard set up directly in front of the plaque for St Andrew's War Memorial School (WMR 15711), partially obscuring it. On the right-hand side of the sheet, beneath the logos of the sponsoring bodies, is given a description of the project. This includes the information that the 26 names featured on the sheet are the names of those on the Memorial School plaque, and that there were a total of 44 men from Maghull who gave their lives. The names of the other 18 are then listed. The names of the 26 are listed alphabetically, with their age at death, and its date, printed in red, above a brief description of the death, some with photographs beside them, printed in black.
