Condition
History
2003: Inspection of the memorial revealed a need for repair work. 1) Name tablets damaged due to previous repair work which involved sanding of the tablets when they were repainted. The granite surface had subsequently degraded. 2) Some of the mortar joints need repointing. 3) Three principal crakcs in the main body of the memorial, namely beneath the lower right hand corner of the memorial's front face; on the lower left of the memorial's left face; and beneath the lower right hand corner of the panel on the memorial's right face. The parish council are seeking funds to carry out the work. Date unknown: Names tablets sanded and repainted.
