Description
Simple tall bevelled shaft with tapering floriated cross, rises from three-stepped tringular base with white stone square plinth. Whole is enclosed at ground level by low triangular brick wall with two slightly higher pillars top at each corner of triangle. Memorial stands in middle of road. There is a bronze plaque fixed to the plinth on its west face. Lettering on lower plinth appears to be in black.
