Description
Tapering stone octagonal column surmounted with Celtic Cross. Whole is on two-stepped octagonal base, surmounted by octagonal plinth. Each side of plinth has incised lancet carving. Inscription on sides of plinth and on front face of the top step. Lettering in black. Whole is on square concrete block. Behind memorial is a grass verge and rose beds.

1951: Lettering repainted 1964: Memorial was moved 50 yards to make way for new by-pass. It was cleaned and the WW2 names were added. 2002: Application placed for grant to clean and repair the memorial
