- Description
- Two Rolls of Honour, the first being a small wooden framed, glazed, paper Roll of Honour. The wood is light coloured, the outer border is white and relatively wide. The inner border is an elaborate design which incorporates a flowering plant, a crown topped, two dimensional rose design, a powder blue silk sash, a sword, shield and winged, plumed Roman helmet and the flags of Belgium, France and the United Kingdom. The dedication is written in the centre, with the names of the men who served and died handwritten in two columns in black lettering. The second is a small rectangular wooden framed, glazed, paper Roll of Honour with plain lined borders and with the names of the men who served and died handwritten in two columns in black lettering.
