- Description
- Four light stained glass window with tracery, and with a rectangulaar brass dedication plaque below. The window portrays Truth, Sacrifice, Immortality and Liberty and is rich in symbolism, with poppies signifying death, briar in the background symbolising suffering and ivy representing immortality. Note that from the end of the 16th century until the 1920's the current St John's Kirk was divided into East and West Kirks. Thus this memorial is on its original site.
