- Description
- A red/brown wooden triptych , the bottom , sides and tops of the two outer panels straight . the top of the centre panel curved outwards forming a canopy . Round all a wide border , with deeply carved leaves and fruits . In the centre panel is the carved figure of Christ crucified , with a halo , the word "INRI" on the top of the upright and above this a screen with ornamented vertical columns , the two outer columns with a trefoil and the centre column a cinquefoil culminating just above the top of the crucifix ,. The two outer panels show the names , subdivided by year of service and constructed of wooden letters standing proud of the panels and at the top of each panel a carved ornamental column culminating with a cinquefoil above the topmost name .

- Only the names are inscribed . The names include both those who served and those who died , but unlike most Rolls of Honour those who died are not separately identified .
