Description
Four stepped octagonal base surmounted by square plinth, tapered octagonal shaft and latin cross. Memorial was built on the remains of the C16 market cross, built in 1553. Inscription on the sides of the plinth.

History
The cross was made from parts of the orginal market cross that had been re-located to the rear of the Presbytery. Portions of the shaft were incorporated in the current version and it was sited on or near to its original site.
