Rectangular framed and glazed roll of honour with the flags of the Allies and the Union Jack above, and the shields of the four countries of the UK each side. There are two lions below and the names are in two columns above in black lettering.

ROLL OF HONOUR PARISH OF DOWNHOLME THIS ROLL CONTAINS THE NAMES OF THOSE WHO SERVED THEIR KING AND COUNTRY IN HIS MAJESTY'S FORCES DURING THE GREAT WAR 1914-1919 AND WERE PERMITTED BY THE BLESSING OF GOD TO RETURN IN SAFETY. (Names)/ FOR KING & COUNTRY.
