Description

Oval shaped metal plaque with elaborate handles on each side. Note that the postal museum catalogue (referenced) states that this is a post WW2 replacement for the original, and that it is bronze. However it actually seems to be either aluminium or an alloy. Post Office counter staff say it is very light. Previous memorial- our reference 78587
