- Description
- A wheeled cross on a five sided column. At the base of the column there are five wings with an inscribed slate tablet on each side. These stand on a five sided pedestal, the side facing the approach path is inscribed. The pedestal is on a circular base and is surrounded by an octagonal tarred path.

- On left front facing inscription panel:- TO THE GREATER GLORY / OF GOD AND IN / HONOURED GRATEFUL / AND IN / HONOURED GRATEFUL / AND UNDYING MRMORY / OF THE MEN OF THIS / PARISH WHO GAVE THEIR / LIVES / IN THE GREAT WAR. / 1914 - 1918 Eight panels each listing 24 names and one panel listing 25 names. On the front facing pedestal panel:- GREATER LOVE HATH NO / MAN THAN THIS, THAT A / MAN LAY DOWN HIS LIFE / FOR HIS FRIENDS / ST. JOHN, XV.13
