Description
Paper Roll of Honour, approx. 3 feet high x 2 feet 3 inches wide, behind glass in dark oak frame. There is a patterned border with roundels along the top, depicting centre the Victoria Cross, left the Military Cross and right Distinguished Service Medal obverse, all in oak leaf surrounds. The words “For King, County and Humanity” are carried on a gold scroll at the top, with assorted flags below, and another scroll with the dedication. The names are contained in a frame, divided into three columns by vertical lines, handwritten. The roll is pre-printed with the headings “Name, Service and Remarks” although the compiler did not adhere to these.
