- Description
- A rectangular pre-printed Roll of Honour on paper. At top-centre of the proforma is a shield bearing a red cross on a white background, which is flanked by a ribbon that bears a quote from Psalm 91: “His faithfulness and truth / shall be thy shield and buckler”. Beneath this is printed 'Roll of Honour. The following members of this church are now on active service', to which the handwritten words 'And Adherents' has been added. The central section has three columns of handwritten names, two of which have are outlined by an ink box, indicating that they had died. Beneath that section is a pre-printed prayer. The Roll appears to have been stuck to a piece of corrugated card. [N.B. The Roll is known to include some parishioners who served only in the First World War and some who served only in the Second World War. Apart from the final two names in column 3 (which are out of sequence), both sets of enlistees are combined in a single alphabetical list, with no apparent notation re which of the two World Wars they served in].

- History
- As the names of parishioners who served in each World War are combined on the Roll in a single alphabetical list, it must have been compiled during or after WW2 (possibly as an updated version of an original WW1 Roll?). The Roll was originally in a glass frame, which was lost in the move to the present Chapel (c1969).
