Description
Wall mounted, landscape orientated inscribed brass plaque. A decoratively inscribed single heavy-lined border terminates up to a square box design at each corner with a thinner continuous line following on inside. First letter of specific words is infilled with red paint and the remaining letters infilled with black paint.

IN MEMORIAM / CHARLES PHILIP TANNER, R.N.,B.SC., SECOND SON OF THE REV. G.A.TANNER. / ENGINEER SUB. LIEUTENANT H.M.S. INDEFATIGABLE. / KILLED IN ACTION IN THE BATTLE OF JUTLAND MAY 31,1916. AGED 22 YEARS / "DULCE ET DECORUM EST PRO PATRIA MORI" / ERECTED BY HIS LOVING MOTHER, BROTHER AND SISTERS.
