Condition
History
2007-The stone had become very dirty with pollution and there was missing pointing. The oak door into the clock tower had also become rotten. War Memorials Trust gave a grant of £1280 to clean the masonry with steam and re-point with lime mortar. A new oak door was hung re-using the original ironmongery; Some of the inscription carved directly into the stonework has worn and is hard to read.
