  • LAC Samuel Twiname RAF died in Hartlepool hospital (cause unknown) on 17 March 1944. He is commemorated on the Borgue war memorial. service number was 1070973. Death cert shows his occupation as taxi driver so the assumption is that he was discharged prior to death. Cause of death was lymphosarcoma so difficult to see how that could be service related, so not commemorated by CWGC
