History
Email correspondence states that: "...the memorial at Ynysybwl Mid Glamorgan which was unveiled and rededicated by HRH Prince of Wales Monday 22nd 2006...The memorial has been refurbished. The original Portland Stone Cenotaph has been cleaned and three all polished light grey granite plaques have been placed over the existing Rolls of Honour which had been damaged by years of weathering. The lettering is cut and painted in black. The 1914-1918, 1939-1945 Rolls have been added to with an additional one which includes two local men who were killed in service one in Northern Ireland 1971 the other in the Falklands conflict 1982."
