Description
Hall with free-standing obelisk, on a single-stepped base which has black marble names tablets. Originally a flower bed was laid around the cenotaph and this was maintained until 1954 when it was paved over. The site is surrounded by wrought iron fencing and gates.

History
In 2017, a grant of £510 was awarded through War Memorials Trust Grants Scheme alongside a grant of £2,444 from Cadw's Grants for War Memorials scheme. The funding helped steam clean the memorial. The jointed were re-pointed with lime mortar whilst stone repairs were undertaken and missing paving replaced. The lettering was re-gilded to improve legibility. While the railings and gates were repainted. As part of the In Memoriam 2014 initiative SmartWater was applied to all metal elements to deter theft.
