- Description
- Rectangular manuscript on paper . the longer axis vertical , within a plain dark brown varnished and glazed frame . At top the words "ROLL OF HONOUR" in capitals coloured gold below which is a rectangular image of a soldier in battledress marching towards the viewer with his rifle on his shoulder and behind him the Union Flag , all in full colour .The image appears to have been hand painted . On either side of this image is the dedication and then below are the names in three columns written in a casual cursive hand without embellishment . Against the names of those who died is a crudely drawn cross . The names are all written is black
