History
In 2014 War Memorials Trust offered a grant of £2,010 for works to the boundary wall to the memorial which was in poor condition. The existing harling and coping stones have deteriorated to the point the repair is not feasible. To address these issues works to replace both the harling and the coping stones were undertaken on a like for like basis. In 2015 War Memorials Trust offered a grant of £4,470 for works to the memorial stepped base and low level railings. The stepped base was badly cracked and crumbling, while the ironwork railings were corroded due to flaking paint. To address the issues the stepped base was repaired and the ironwork railings cleaned and repainted.
