- Description
- Three light stained glass window with a figure with a portrait of each of the deceased depicted in each light. The left light shows Captain John Wingfield depicted as the archangel St. Michael in medieval gold armour with mauve angel's wingfeathers. In the centre light is depicted Stephanie Agnes, wife of Captain Maurice Wingfield, holding a lamb (Agnus Dei) and holding aloft a branch. In the right light, Captain The Honourable Thomas Agar-Roberts is shown as St. George in medieval armour with a crusader's cross on the front of his breastplate and lanced dragon at his feet. Above the likenesses is a representation of St. Wilfred, holding a depiction of his church at Kelsey on the left, and King Ethelwald, who gave Wilfred the land for the church, on the right. There is a small bronze plaque below the window, inscription unknown.
