Description
Obelisk surmounted by a passion cross with tablets bearing inscription positioned on all faces. Memorial is set upon a stone base, with four cornerstones built diagonally on the base. Earlier images show white tablets with black lettering, later images are black tablets with white lettering.

  • The Scotsman 24 May 1920. WAR MEMORIALS UNVEILING AT MOSSGREEN.— There was unveilied on Saturday at Mossgreen, Fife, a memorial to the men in the ecclesiastical parish of Mossgreen who fell in the war. Bearing the names of 79 men, the memorial is in the form of an obelisk set upon a stone base, with four cornerstones built diagonally on the base. At the unveiling ceremony, which was performed by Lady Dorothy Hope Morley, daughter of the Earl of Buckinghamshire, there was a large assembly of the parishioners. The Rev. A. J. Kesting, minister of the parish, presided. An address was given by the Earl of Buckinghamshire.
