Description
A limestone wheel cross on a stepped and battered rectangular stone pedestal and rectangular base, with additional stone tablets at each of the four faces of the base. The cross itself is a reproduction, on a slightly smaller scale, of St. Martin's Cross, lona, except that the back or west face is plain. The carving on the front or east side is the same as on the east face of St. Martin's Cross. The 6 o'clock face of the cross decorated with carved celtic knotwork and flowers. The original inscription on the pedestal and 6 o'clock tablet is in upright cavo relievo capital block lettering and is now weathered and largely illegible. The tablets on the other three faces provide duplicate replacement inscriptions incised in capital block lettering.
