- Description
- A GRU/IWGC wooden battlefield cross, mounted on the chapel wall. It has a framed photograph attached below the horizontal beam showing the original location of the grave ( as at Oct 2022 this is no longer visible ). There is a GRU tag on the upright and three white metal strips on the cross member

THIS CROSS WAS SET OVER THE GRAVE OF/ LIEUTENANT JOHN LINDSEY KELSALL/ WHO WAS KILLED AT HIS GUNS NEAR/ ZOLLEBEKE LAKE ON 27TH AUGUST/ 68TH (ARMY) BRIGADE R.F.A/ HIS BODY IS BURIED IN "HUTS" MILITARY/ CEMETERY, DICKEBUSCH. FLANDERS
