- 2008: an additional tablet was added below the memorial with two more names. A third name was added in 2009.

Purpose: Between £3000-4000 was subscribed to form a War Memorial Fund. £500 was used to build the memorial. The remainder was invested in War Loan and War Bonds in the names of the Society's trustees. The deed of trust, from 7th September 1921, provides that the income shall be applied "in the payment of all or part of the school fees of any child or children dependent or dependents of any Old Framlinghamian who was incapacitated, killed, or died from wounds received in the late European War who shall, [...] be in need of assistance in payment of their school fees as aforesaid [...]."
