History
The clock went through a 3-phase restoration from 2001 and 2005. Some of the work done were clock face dial numbers and hands were re-painted in gold-leaf paint and electrification of the winding mechanism. (See ref.)

Comments: Over the period December 1944 - June 1946 the required money for building the clock was raised. The mechanism and clock face were installed between January and March 1947.
