- Description
- Large tablet comprising a mottled marble (alabaster) frame with four inset panels. The upper panel contains the dedicatory inscription in incised gold-painted lettering. Below that, the central panel is a mosaic depiction of St Michael; the two panels on either side of it contain the names of the Fallen, incised in black lettering and enclosed in a foliate and ribbon border.
