Description
Nowy headed brass plaque mounted onto a black wood backboard. Inscription in relief. Regimental badge depicted at the top centre of the plaque. Foliate border on the left and right hand sides of the plaque. Laurel leaves with ribbon with battle honour incised on it at the top and bottom of the plaque. Two pennants for the 17th lancers depicted at each corner of the plaque.
