WHITE MARBLE INSCRIPTION TABLET SET WITHIN A MOSIAC AND MOULDED MARBLE FRAME. WHOLE IS MOUNTED ONTO A BLACK STONE BACKBOARD. INSCRIPTION IN BLACK LETTERING. FOLIATE MOSAIC BORDER WITH GOLD MOSAIC CROSS ON A RED AND WHITE BACKGROUND AT EACH CORNER. MOSIAC PRINCE OF WALES FEATHERS ON A BLUE BACKGROUND AT THE TOP CENTRE OF THE BORDER

TO THE GLORY OF GOD AND IN MEMORY OF THOSE OF THE TENTH ROYAL HUSSARS WHO LOST THEIR LIVES/ DURING THE CAMPAIGN IN SOUTH AFRICA 1899 - 1902.
