- RECTANGULAR WHITE MARBLE INSCRIPTION TABLET FRAMED BY A MOSAIC BORDER. WHOLE IS MOUNTED WITHIN A MOTTLED MARBLE FRAME. GOLD BLUE AND GREEN COLOURED FOLIATE MOSAIC BORDER WITH GOLD STA ON A BLUE BACKGROUND AT EACH CORNER. REGIMENTAL BADGE DEPICTED IN MOSIAC IN THE TOP LEFT CORNER OF THE TABLET.

- TO THE MEMORY OF/ MAJOR AND BREVET-COLONEL/ CHARLES LOUSADA THESIGER BARROW DSO/ 2ND IN COMMAND OF THE 2ND BATTN "THE CAMERONIANS"/ (SCOTTISH RIFLES)/ HE SERVED IN SOUTHERN AFGHANISTAN 1880,/ THORUGHOUT THE EGYPTIAN CAMPAIGN OF 1882,/ SOUDAN EXPEDITION 1884-5, SOUDAN 1885.6.8., DURING WHICH TIME/ HE COMMANDED THE MOUNTED INFANTRY,/ AND DIED AT BRINDISI ON HIS PASSAGE HOME ON THE 28TH APRIL 1892./ THIS MEMORIAL IS ERECTED BY HIS BROTHER OFFICERS/ OF THE "CAMERONIANS" (SCOTTISH RIFLES)
