Description
Large, portrait orientated rectangular stone tablet with incised black lettering dedicated to WW1. Beneath WW1 tablet is a smaller, WW2 landscape oriented rectangular stone tablet also with incised black lettering.
Inscription
WW1 tablet : TO THE GLORY OF GOD / AND IN LASTING MEMORY OF / ( NAMES) / OF THIS PARISH. / WHO DIED IN THE GREAT WAR, 1914-1918. / THIS TABLET IS DEDICATED BY THEIR EVER / GRATEFUL FRIENDS AND NEIGHBOURS. / " THEY COUNTED NOT THEIR LIVES DEAR UNTO THEM." WW2 tablet :1939 -1945 / ( NAMES)
