1944-1945; THE MEMORIAL WAS KNOCKED DOWN BY AN AMERICAN FORCES LORRY. AMERICAN MILITARY COMMAND PAID FOR THE MEMORIAL TO BE REPAIRED AND PLACED INTO THE LOCAL CEMETERY. 1994 or 1999: PARISH COUNCIL MOVED THE MEMORIAL BACK TO ITS ORIGINAL LOCATION
