- Description
- Rectangular base, surmounted by six-sided plinth, on which stands a full-height four-sided obelisk and conjoined half-height 'broken' obelisk (signifying lives cut short). The inscription is in black lettering, on the front face of the plinth. At the foot of the obelisk is a carved wreath. (Behind the memorial is a whitewashed wall, to which a memorial is fixed re Lance Bombardier J D Laurie, our record of which is WMR 442222).
