1963: THE CLUB WAS CLOSED AND THE BUILDING WAS DEMOLISHED TO MAKE WAY FOR THE MANCUNIAN WAY INNER RELIEF ROAD. A NEW CLUB WAS BUILT BUT THE MEMORIAL WAS NOT MOVED TO IT
