Description
Ornate classical style wooden board with illuminated, dedicatory inscription and names (in five columns, separated by wooden divides)) on ceramic tiles in the centre. These are flanked by two classical female figures flanking the inscription, Peace, at left, and Victory, at right, which are in turn flanked by columns and have text underneath. On pediment are carved in relief a coronet and crossed palm leaves flanked by the dates. Above each figure is carved a shield bearing, at left the Manchester Coat of Arms and, right, the Royal Coat of Arms.
