- Description
- Illuminated roll of honour set within an ornate wooden frame formed by fluted pilasters on the sides supporting a crenellated pediment Crests of the Allied countries depicted in the top and bottom border of the roll of honour. Flags of the Allies depicted on the left and right sides of the border Pen and ink illustrations and text. Glazed with gold painted internal border to frame. The names are listed in eight columns by sub-divisions of the Sons of Temperance, and alphabetically within those sub-divisions.

- 2009: War Memorials Trust funded replacement of original glazing with UV-resistant laminated safety glass. Memorial placed on public display in Bolton Town Hall. 2000: Memorial disassembled and removed to Bolton Museum due to sale of original location. Some of the wooden mouldings sustained minor damaged during the move to Bolton Museum. Memorial reassembled, repaired and conserved at Bolton Museum.
