Description
Stone cross on an octagonal plinth, which stands on a four-stepped octagonal base. The lower and upper sections of the octagonal shaft of the Cross have a carved blind arcade of lancets with trefoil heads; the upper one is set within bands of incised strapwork. The upper part of the shaft takes the form of a capital with the inscription IHS to the north and south faces. It is surmounted by a Celtic cross that has boss terminals to the arms and to four points of the circle. The incised inscription is in black lettering. The First World War inscription is on the plinth and upper three steps of the base. The Second World War inscription is on the opposite side of the base, on the third step up.
